The mistake made when choosing orthotics
Below is a list of some common mistakes clients have made in the past when choosing orthotics:

1) Inaccurate off-the-shelf orthotics, usually purchased in chemists or by mail order. These merely change the foot from one wrong position to the next, wearing out the knees, hips and back due to faulty foot alignment.

2) Prescription orthotics that are inaccurate, too rigid or too soft.  We recognise that movement must accompany shape and tailor your orthotic to move with your foot and choice of shoe type.

3) Using "off-the-shelf"

4) Relying on gel heel pads or heel cups to attempt to "soften" the heel strike.
